Dion Fawcett

Dion (he/him) is a seasoned leader in higher education and case management, with experience in both the post-secondary and social service sectors. Specializing in policy and program development for behavioral intervention and risk assessment teams, as well as care initiatives, Dion has developed frameworks and operational processes that align with emerging practices and evidence-based learning, all with a focus on coordinated student care.

Kristin Lennan

Kristin (she/her), has extensive training in behaviour management, conflict mediation, restorative justice and threat assessment practices and has shaped many behaviour management processes to emphasize fairness and equity. She believes that addressing behaviour can be a truly transformational experience when approached from a respectful and compassionate place.

Danielle Gardiner Milln

Danielle (she/her) is a dedicated advocate for equity and Indigenization in higher education, leveraging over a decade of experience in student affairs and academic spheres. Her background of academic editing and writing focuses on crafting policies that prioritize learner needs while offering practical guidance for practitioners. Her doctoral scholarship focuses on educational praxis of student affairs professionals and their use of institutional policies.

Nicky Renault

Nicky (she/her), a scholar and educator, is currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of British Columbia. With experience in drama, law, and higher education, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her work. Nicky’s work has continuously involved the oversight of non-academic behaviour management processes and more recently includes a focus on the facilitation and support of academic integrity and appeal procedures.

Our team has worked at multiple post-secondary institutions in roles related to conflict resolution, student conduct administration, case management, restorative practices, and threat assessment, in both academic and non-academic environments. We've also worked outside the sector!

We are committed to staying relevant. Alongside our academic pursuits, we track trends in the field, changes in legislation, and follow international practices. This allows us to emphasize Canadian specific content while contrasting, and strengthening our day-to-day practices and work.

Incident & Case Management

Collectively, we've managed and coordinated care for thousands of cases by serving in various roles including case manager, fact-finder, decision-maker, appeal board member and chair of behavioural intervention teams. We are practitioners!

Our team members have founded and designed sold-out national training institutes, led workshops and facilitated professional development sessions on a variety of topics, of all sizes, in all kinds of locations with rave reviews.
