The long-standing Hof & Associates' Student Conduct Institute curriculum, hosted previously in partnership with CACUSS, has been updated to this refreshed institute to offer an updated approach to building key skills in student conduct work. The institute is designed for professionals looking to understand the foundational components of student conduct administration and to deepen their practice. Participants will strengthen their ability to approach student conduct with clarity and confidence - sharpening your fact-finding and decision-making skills while exploring the principles and practices that guide fair, effective processes in post-secondary settings.

  • Length: Five-half days over two weeks, four hours each day
  • Certificate: Available upon completion.

Space will be limited to 35 participants.

Our courses serve professionals nationwide across all experience levels and institutional types, including colleges, universities, and polytechnics. Whether you are a new or seasoned practitioner working in academic or non-academic student conduct administration, housing services, serving as a decision-maker or on an appeal panel, you will gain practical tools and updated best practices.

Do I get a certificate or confirmation of completion?

Yes, if you’ve attended the full institute we can send you either. Just ask us at the end of the course. 

What happens if I can’t attend a portion of the day?

We understand that participants need to jump in and out sometimes for meetings - no problem. The facilitators stay after class each day to catch you up on what you missed, you’ll also have access to the slide deck for 90 days following the institute.

Absolutely. The Student Conduct Institute is available year-round by request to groups and teams. And we can even host regional drive-ins if you’ll provide us with the space.
